Jakub and Jan are happy to announce that the HARRIS CREEK RACE IS ON. This Saturday, March 04, the race will

With the Harris Creek gauge was vandalised, we lost one of the most important gauges for west coast paddling in the Port Renfrew area.

Luckily, Stephen Hunt came up with a statistical model to predict the flow of Harris. We have been testing this model for a couople month now and it works great. Stephen put the gauge predictor online on bc-ww.com:

Conor and I went to explore Granite Creek by Port Renfrew yesterday and despite the low water level it still was some good times and I was scared shitless a few times.

Where: The race will be held on Harris Creek, Vancouver Island. If water levels are too high to safely run Harris, the race will held on Hemmingsen Creek. In case of low water, the race will be on the upper or middle Gordon.
