Paddling is an inherently dangerous sport even for experienced paddlers. No information on this site can replace common sense and good judgement. Rivers and flows are constantly changing and new Hazards can appear at any time. Flows dramitically change the character and difficulty of a river.
Take a swiftwater rescue course and never paddle outside your abilities or comfort zone. Use common sense BEFORE you put on the river and make your OWN judgement about flows. When on the river always scout, use common sense and be conservative. YOUR personal decisions make paddling safer.
We take no resposibility for lost and/or broken gear nor any accidents, injuries or fatalities incurred while kayaking.
We authored this site solely to share our experiences with the paddling community.
