Bad news, the Piggott/Harris creek system referral is now in front of me for a microhydro project to start up June 2008.
The Piggott/Harris system flows into the Oyster off the backside of Mount Washington. It is a Lenz sized creek with a spectacularly clean cauldron bowl falls(height is disputed to be between 40 and 60 feet) at the put in. There is a supertight upper canyon and then an open bolder field/bedrock ramp section. Overall gradient is 4% -not including the falls. The lower canyon holds a nice 6% section over 1km. Total length for the run is 7 km. This run will be effectively dried up with only 10% of MAD left in river.
