| Class: | 3 - 3+ (5) | ||
| Length: | 7km long run with 5 km of classic whitewater. Expect a slow start to the whitewater after the first boulderfield. | ||
| Time: | 4 hours | ||
| Season: | Best during Spring freshet which is quite long. | ||
| Put-In: | The logging road bridge | ||
| Take-Out: | About 7 km down logging road from put-in bridge, turn onto a spur on left. There are two spurs close together, just before a creek bridge. It is the second of the two spurs. Drive along it as far as you can for up to 0.8km ( it has been dug up). From the river, it is just after a constriction from a large boulder, into a pool that is bigger than most on this river. Hike out up the steep embankment on river right. | ||

Run description:
This is an ultra classic river run with many fun rapids in an open canyon. This river pushes the class 3+ boater, but provides easy clean up for mistakes with it’s pool drop nature. It is for the most part a read and run river. The one challenging technical rapid is easily spotted and can be easily walked.
The two downsides to this run are the slow start (easy water) at the beginning, and the take out, which is steep, hard to find, and long. There are many high quality camping options in the area.
