Run description:
This is a fun grade 3- section of river that is a great place to teach newer boaters some new things. To get to the put in drive towards the native reserve, and when you cross the bridge that’s your put int. there a are a few take outs. For all of them start to drive down the road towards the ocean, the first one is the road before the high school. Once you cross the Heber River go right and take out at the park. To get to the other main one keep driving down towards the ocean, until you go past a big sign that says your family needs you, and then its the next left. And about 100feet in; there is a small park this is called the big bend take out and the put in for the lower canyon.
Flows you can run it as low as about 50cms, and about as high as you want, but any thing over 200ish is going to be getting flooded. Highest I know that its been run at was 1500cms ish.
