Run description:
This seems to be a run that has quite a bit of potential. It is long and fairly steep low volume. When we ran it it was lowish and some of the boulder gardens were bumpy. The run starts with a short easy section and then enters a constricted canyon with 2 waterfalls that we walked. They might be runnable. After that are 2 runnable drops and then a slide with a hard right turn, You definitely want to look at this one. We walked on the left. It is runnable and very impressive. Below that the canyon eases up a little bit and opens up. The rest of the run is mainly steep boulder drops (lots of them) and some bedrock drops. The highlights are a clean 15 feet waterfall and a long chute right after that. There is a number of other fun drops, too many to remember. The run is very steep with short pools.
There is at least one drop with nasty wood in it that can only be seen when scouting from shore. So make sure to double check the first time down. The character reminded me a lot of the part of the Fleet river that I have been on but a little more manageble.
Oh yeah, its bridge to bridge.
The second time we ran this, Shayne swam off the 15 m (50 feet) waterfall/slide. Yes, the one that everyone calls unrunnable and that lands in a shallow pool and ends up in a cave. This was the best carnage I have ever witnessed. He did not even hurt himself. Still, it’s not recommended to try this yourself.
